Ronen Kadushin

… is an Israeli designer and design educator living in Berlin.
He taught furniture design and design creativity courses at leading Israeli and European design academies.
His creative mindset led him to develop and conceptualize “Open Design” by writing its manifesto: a collection of product designs that can be freely downloaded, copied, modified and produced, replicating the Open Source software approach. Based on this concept, he formed “Open Design”, a design and production company for furniture, lighting and accessories which are produced in Berlin and sold in Europe and the USA. His works are regularly presented in solo and group exhibitions world wide, and published in professional literature.
He is currently teaching Open design and creativity in universities, gives creative development consultations to companies, and speaks at conferences.
