He strongly believes that the best work comes from working with creators from various fields when developing creative ideas and he continuously challenges traditional ‘cookie cutter’ solutions.
Ricardo has worked as the manager of several national, international and global marketing communication projects for agencies such as Initiative, OMD, McCann-Erickson and corporate organisations like The Coca-Cola Company. Here he took over a broader marketing communication role as a Group Creative Excellence Manager Europe. He was responsible for the development and execution of the Coca-Cola World Cup 2006, Coca-Cola EURO 2008 and the Coke Zero & James Bond campaigns. He directed the implementation of a brand new, pan-European creative agency model for Coca-Cola and developed the marketing communication capabilities within the European marketing team as a trainer.
Ricardo’s work has been widely awarded both internally (e.g. The Global Coca-Cola Marketing Excellence Award) and externally (e.g. Cannes Lions).
